You will know I am new to computer terms by the question I have.
I have read that DS10 does not support 64bit processing.
My Media Center has an AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core Processor 4200+
I assume DS10 will not work on my computer. Is that true.
Thank You

Actually you have misread the requirements.

The requirement is for a 32bit operating system like Windows XP or Vista.

Current Dragon 10 NaturallySpeakign WONT work with 64 Bit XP or 64 bit Vista.

the fact that the CPU you have is 64bit is irrelevant as it works in the mode of the operating system. So even though its a 64bit AMD chip ( I have a X2 4800 AMD Athlon ) it works in 32 bit mode in nrmal XP and Vista perfectly with dragon ten.

So as long as you have normal XP and Vista and not the 64 bit variatant then you are good to go!

There will be an update at some stage for Dragon 10 Vista 64 bit compatibility!

Dragon 10.1 now supports Vista and 64 Bit! Just buy the normal version from the official retailer: voicerecognition.com.au (http://voicerecognition.com.au) and then you can download the 64bit compatibility module for free. Its pretty big though.

Works brilliantly though with 64 bit windows now!
